Today I visited The Greenhouse Resort which was a recommendation of My friend Raj Singh Rathore from Jaipur.
I was surprised and made quick question to Mr Sukh Deo Rathore(Manager) that how they maintain and grow the best quality of Roses and strawberry in the middle of desert.
The Greenhouse Resort Pushkar is the best accomodation with luxuries and green eco friendly activity I have seen in India yet.
I would definatly like to share some information of Resort for Travel Joy at Pushkar.

The Greenhouse-Luxurious Eco-Boutique Resort
The Greenhouse is a Luxurious Eco-Boutique Resort in the heart of Rajasthan, Holy town of Pushkar. The Resort is located just 10 mins from the main city of Pushkar, in a serene and quiet environment. A Tented resort of just 20 Luxurious tents, set in 10 acres of landscaped gardens, Water bodies and a specially designed green house restaurant has a picturesqueue view of hills. The resort setting is picture perfect, a rustic set up with all modern amenities and spacious canopied style tents.
20 free-standing special tents spaced at a comfortable distance from each other. Offering a tranquil and serene atmosphere, the resort pampers the guests with its personalized service.
The Greenhouse Resort practices various Eco-friendly activities. For energy conservation, solar water heating system, energy efficient lamps are used which provide as much light as ordinary bulbs, yet consume substantially less energy. Emphasis is laid on water conservation by the practice of reducing water wastage; efficient practices such as concealed cistern toilets, Towel & Sheets Re-use programs are used.
Tubewells are used for water.
An Exotic vegetable garden has been grown in the resort. Natural materials such as Stones, Wood, and Cotton fabric has been used in the making of the tents.
TENTS
The resort offers 20 stylish Air-conditioned Tents; each tent of the resort is customized and designed with outmost style keeping the modern necessities in mind. The rooms of Resort have a modern and chic look. Different kinds of elegant furniture and lights are used to ornate the rooms.

SUPERIOR TENT
There are 8 standard tents, each measuring 450 square feet. The tents are constructed of canvas with a canopied style ceiling. The tent provides all luxuries. The bathrooms have a shower cubicle and are well equipped with all amenities. The tent has an outside wooden deck for sun bathing and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscapes.
DELUXE TENT
There are 8 luxury tents, each measuring 575 square feet. The tent features an elegant setting with king size four poster bed one of its kind, along with modern accessories. Bathrooms are luxurious and greatly spaced with a separate shower area with rain shower and bathtub area along with beautiful designer tiles. The Tent provides wooden outdoor deck with comfortable chairs.
SUITES
There are 4 suites, each measuring 850 square feet. The Suites are a unique feature of the Resort. The fully Air-conditioned Tent boasts of Wooden Flooring with spacious and elegant interiors. The Tents feature Four Poster Bed, a small sitting, study Table and a wardrobe. The 32inches LCD televisions add to the comfort quotient of the suite. Each tent has a bathroom with a double vanity counter, a huge bathtub and separate rain shower cubicle. The tent has a private patio overlooking the view of the Pool.
DINING
The resort provides a few dining options, guests are most welcome to choose to dine wherever they wish.
RESTAURANT
The exquisitely decorated and tastefully done restaurant is one of its kind, it’s a huge greenhouse of beautiful gerbera flowers. Dining in the restaurant makes you feel close to nature, surrounded by colorful flowers. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, our restaurant serves a menu of exceptional quality featuring the best of both International and Indian cuisine. Much of the fresh produce comes straight from the kitchen garden at The Greenhouse.
The Restaurant has a bar and a small lounge area for the guests to enjoy drinks & snacks.
Open-Air Dining
Guests may enjoy open air dining by the Poolside. In the evening, to take full advantage of the romantic surroundings, guests may choose to dine under the stars and be entertained by traditional performances of Indian music and dance.
Pool Bar
The Wooden Pool Bar has a charm on its own. Snacks and service of beverages are provided at the Pool Bar.
SWIMMING POOL
The resort features a Big Swimming Pool with Jacuzzi measuring 60 ft in length and 35 ft in width. Guests can refresh and rejuvenate themselves by taking a dip in the fresh water of the pool. The Pool Area is the prime attraction of the resort; a relaxing ambience has been created around the Pool. For relaxation Sun beds and Sun Loungers are placed.
CONFERENCE HALL
Conference Hall is an ideal place for conducting meetings and conferences. Measuring1000 Square feet, it has a seating capacity of 60 persons. To escape from the busy lives of the city, and have a conference in a quiet and peaceful environment is a great way to mix business with pleasure.
SPA
The Greenhouse Resort rejuvenates its guests with spa treatment and massages. Yoga & meditation sessions are also provided to ease the guests from the stress and weariness.
